Tennis Expo a Huge Success

The first annual Tennis Expo was held Saturday November 7th. It drew over 1200 players, pros, and fans, and exhibit space was completely sold out. Specialty areas included USTA's QuickStart demonstration, Sportime's Speed Serve competition area, and Virtual Tennis provided by Dave and Busters; all-day clinics featured Bob Litwin, Steve Kaplan, Frank Dolan, Lawrence Kleger, Carl Barnett, and Joe Arias.

LI Dominates N.Y.S. Girls High School Championships
11/14/2009

Blair Seideman (Jericho) was the Singles NYS Champion! Hannah Camhi (Syosset) captured 3rd place. In doubles, Brooke Pottish & Lindsay Kantor (Westhampton Beach) were second and taking 3rd place was Diana Vamvakitis & Jaimie Hann (Westhampton Beach). In the consolations, Melissa Edelblum & Paige Mintz (Roslyn) captured the doubles title and Samantha Elgort (Half Hollow Hills East) was the singles runner-up.
